Anyone who knows me knows I'm up for ice cream. Any time, any day. Last summer, we had a three ice cream day. That was unusual and I am pretty sure my parents will never let that happen again.
But it got me thinking. Where is the best ice cream in the Shuswap? Here are my favourites.
- D Dutchman Dairy in Sicamous - not only can you get ice cream, but frozen pies and there are animals to go see.
- Pink Cherry in Salmon Arm - they have gelato and I will almost always get cherry.
- Shack Ice Cream Shoppe in Salmon Arm - I like this place when we go to WOW which is live music on Wednesdays in the park by the big dock.
- Blind Bay Village Grocer in Blind Bay - they have the biggest cones around the lake.
- Anglemont Marina - they used to sell ice cream from an old school bus so even though there is a build there now, we still call it the ice cream bus.
I think I need to go see if my parents will take me for ice cream now. I am sure you have other ideas, so feel free to add them to the list in the comments section.
