With summer almost here (43 days and counting until it's official), it's time to start getting everything ready for life at the lake. I'm looking forward to days spent on the water and warm evenings. We've got a lot of traditions around being at the cabin.
Check out the latest - Dad Hats are officially here. ust like life at the lake, they are relaxed and casual. Totally inspired by the Shuswap, our unstructured cotton twill Dad Hats are embroidered locally in Blind Bay. And they are the perfect hat for anyone, not just dads.
When I think about summer in the Shuswap, it usually involves time on the boat, a campfire, trail running and eating outside. We also have a few things we have to do at least once each summer like getting ice cream from every ice cream place around the Shuswap at least once. And there are also a number of events which are traditions for my family - the parade in Blind Bay on Canada Day, getting cookies at the Salmon Arm Farmers Market, Wednesdays on the Wharf to name a few. I started a list of events going on around the Shuswap this summer that are totally worth checking out. Farm & Craft Markets Armstrong - Saturdays 8am - noon...
