Canada Day in the Shuswap

One of my favourite events in the Shuswap happens on Canada Day - it's the South Shuswap Canada Day Festivities and Fireworks in Blind Bay. We've been going for as long as I can remember. There is usually a parade that starts the day and local businesses make some pretty creative floats along with classic cars. There are usually hundreds of people out to watch and then follow the parade to Centennial Field where there's a market, live music, food trucks, games and activities all day long. Photographers in the Shuswap

Can you help me find an awesome photographer in the Shuswap? This is a pretty common question I get in my DMs in Instagram.  At this time of year, a version of this comes in at least once a week. Cabin Life at the Shuswap

With summer almost here (43 days and counting until it's official), it's time to start getting everything ready for life at the lake. I'm looking forward to days spent on the water and warm evenings. We've got a lot of traditions around being at the cabin.
