Instagrammable Places and Walls in the Shuswap - best places for photos near Salmon Arm

Over the past few years, we've been taking pictures of Shuswap Soul gear all over the Shuswap and have come been really lucky to find some awesome Instagram worthy places to shoot. We've done a things we love about the Shuswap and the best places for ice cream in the Shuswap before so thought we'd share some of our favourite places for pictures.

Ross Street Plaza Stage - there's an awesome mosaic tile wall on the stage that is so cool to see.
Ross Street NE and Hudson Ave NE

Salmar Classic Theatre - on the backside of the building, there's a mural of old fashioned reel to reel movie film.
360 Alexander St NE but the coolest part is on the backside from Ross Street

Salmon Arm Innovation Centre - there are a few spots around this colourful building including the butterfly mural and many multicoloured strips.
220 Shuswap St S

Salmon Arm Barbers - on the side of the Salmon Arm Barber Shop, there's a cool mural of osprey looking to make a meal out of the fish.
120 Hudson Ave NE

There are also some great places for shots outside that don't have painted murals at all but are just awesome pictures.

The Salmon Arm Wharf - looking out to the lake, there's a few super cool places for photos on and around the wharf. Fun fact, it's Canada's longest wharf and even has its own Trip Advisor ranking.

Provincial Parks - there are so many great parks around the lake. Two of my favourites are Herald Provincial Park and Shuswap Lake Provincial Park. What I like about the parks is there are options for pics at the beaches, on the trails and trees.

Shuswap Trails - there are a few trails which have cool things added to the trails like Troll Bridge or the Bastion Mountain Trail.

Lookouts - there are some great lookouts around the lake. Some are accessible by car and others you need to walk up to. Sicamous is one of the most popular but also there's one in Scotch Creek, Bastion Mountain, Sorrento, Blind Bay, Enderby Cliffs and also at Fly Hills in Salmon Arm.

If you have other favourite places, shoot me a DM on Instragram and we'll add it to our list.
